The brief

Arbee Aquatic Proteins was invited to present the India marine ingredients industry report on fish meal and fish oil at the IFFO China Summit. The report had to inform an international audience of buyers and producers, and still be easy to follow from a stage.

The approach

Lead with the argument, not the data. The deck opens with India’s place in global fisheries and ends with sustainability and the season ahead, so the audience follows a line of reasoning from the world, to the country, to the product, to what comes next.

Let each chart answer one question. Landings by state, landings by species, production, exports of fish meal, exports of fish oil and the shift in oil use each get their own slide, with a plain headline stating what to notice.

Give dense material room to breathe. Maps, charts, icons and photographs share each slide with short notes, so a reader can scan it in seconds and a presenter can speak to it without reading it out.

Share the stage with the event. The Arbee identity and the summit badge sit together on every slide, so the report belongs to both the company and the occasion.

What the work covered

  • Helped build the creative concept and the story structure of the report.
  • Helped build the experience of the data: charts, maps and pacing that work on a stage and on a page.
  • Helped align the report with the Arbee brand and the IFFO China Summit.

Delivered as a 19-slide presentation for the IFFO China Summit.
